  : Landlord is a lovely gentleman, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing, room very clean.
  : Husband had to put shower door back on runner. Smoke alarm had been removed from the ceiling. When asked the landlady about this there was no apology or anything, basically got told to check out. I said I'm not travelling at this time of night and her reply was 'why, are you scared of the dark?' Customer service skills atrocious. I wasn't nasty, just trying to speak to her and she told me it wasn't law to have a smoke alarm fitted. We'll I'm sorry but for the safety of your guests, it is. We won't be returning because of her, which is a shame as her husband was lovely.

  : The room isn't fit for purpose. It is covered in mould, is damp and has a musky smell. The room was cold even with the heater on, the bedding felt damp to touch. There was dust and suspect stains on the chair, indicating the cleaning is poor. I didn't stay, as it felt like a health risk with the mould on the walls and stagnant air. I left shortly after checking in. The room needs taking back to brick, airing out and re rendered in appropriate materials, for it to be safe to let out.
