  : The white sheets and the hotel was pretty clean. The staff are also friendly. The location was great.

  : The carpet in our room was very dirty and stained. Our room also smelled of smoke really bad. I was not pleased at all with the cleanliness. We left and went somewhere else.

  : The location was perfect! Just minutes from downtown Asheville, yet close to beautiful parks and terrific restaurants. This budget motel was clean and quiet, and that front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful.
  : Very first world...no microwave, ice buckets or cable channels.

  : As budget motels go, this one was quite nice. My room was clean and quiet, the bed was quite comfortable, and the A/C worked well and wasn't as noisy as most. In other words, I had no complaints (after check-in, see below), which might not seem like much but actually is. The coffee was fine, for motel coffee that is. The breakfast was typical, which is to say sparse, but at least there were bananas.
  : My check-in was rough, to say the least. I arrived somewhat after the 3 pm check-in opening, but learned that I had a second floor room and there were no elevators -- not great for someone with bad knees. The motel was obviously nearly empty and I asked for a first floor room. The reception fellow seemed completely at a loss, and it took over half an hour to find me a room which (it turned out) had been free all along. Then I found that there was no microwave in the room, which would have been a major issue -- the receptionist told me that only some rooms had them because of theft --?! But then he carried one to my room. Problem solved.
