  : Perfect position in the town of Badenweiler, close to everything (restaurants, coffee-shops, city park, thermal facilities etc), yet extremely calm and quiet, easily accessible, well kept. The hotel is chic in its very own way, with furnishings that evoke the XIXth century in the styles but heavily revisited, with lots of post-modern and screaming-colours touches. The two hosts (the Halbreiters) are wonderful people, very attentive to the well-being of their guests, easy on backup solutions, ready to answer to all questions, and sources of great advices about the town and surroundings. They personally arrange every day a beautiful breakfast for each guests, with commercial or local products, and play the game of "serving at the table" with great elegance and lots of fun. Our room even had a little terrace on the back of the building, for relax and eating when you feel too tired to go out. All this in the sweet and romantic setting of southern Schwarzwald... could you ask for more ?
  : Very little to object. OK for no air-conditioning, but maybe a fan in the room would help, for some hotter nights :)

  : It is a very uniquely decorated with a personal touch.Nice owners and very helpful. It is perfectly located in middle of the city close to the thermen. Breakfast was very good and too much to eat. The room was very good with specific interior and well balanced. The balcony was perfect on these warm days

  : Very nicely decorated hotel with friendly owners. We were especially surprised by the lavish and somewhat 'private' breakfast provided by the owners. It left sort of B&B type of experience, very nice.
  : The beds are quite small, too small if you're above 1.80m. Best book the rooms with beds without any foot-end.

  : Extremely cute small hotel, very friendly and pleasant owners of the hotel who create a kind atmosphere. The breakfast was very tasty, varied and plentiful. Tasty coffee. Perfect cleanliness everywhere.
  : In my room number 11 wich is located at 3th floor doesnt work wi-fi. So if you need internet, ask about different room.

  : Nicely located in the local shopping street with plenty of shops, wineries, bakeries, and restaurants. The hotel has its own free parking but it is on the small size. Not that it matters, there should be enough parking spots for all the guests if everyone park their cars correctly.
  : What is not to like about the property. its a nice romantic place for couples that like boutique hotels. It may not have a restaurant (the closest restaurant is right across the street) but they do have a fridge full of wine and beers for consumption (to be paid for at checkout). Upstairs theres a coffee and tea station if you want an afternoon coffee.
