  : The front desk staff was excellent!! The room that we reserved was not ready upon arrival, but we were offered an equally good room and access to the MClub as compensation, which was great! When we checked out, there was a question about a room charge and again the front desk staff was very accommodating and resolved the issue. Throughout the stay, the front desk staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions.The hotel elevators were incredibly efficient!!The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Room and bathroom were spacious. The location could not be better. Very close to many places for eating, shopping, and along the free shuttle bus route.
  : The charge for valet parking is excessive at $55 per night. There are not any options for overnight parking in Bethesda, so it seems that Marriot is taking advantage of that by requiring valet parking at a very high price. Since every guest must use the service, it would still be profitable at a lower cost to guests.The bartender at the rooftop bar was extremely rude. The venue was very crowded and he acted very put out that he was busy. The music at the rooftop venue was uncomfortably loud. Since it was so crowded it was not possible to dance, so patrons just wanted to converse and enjoy the company. The loud music made that impossible!Also, why is the rooftop venue closed during the day? The view is beautiful and it would be very nice to have an afternoon glass of beer or wine before the evening crowd takes over the venue.

  : Attractive, well-located hotel. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.
  : On check in no information was provided about WiFi or dining options. The worst thing was the lack of proper soundproofing- the person next door was snoring and kept me up. I paid about $600 to have my sleep disturbed by snoring! Also the a/c was only passable and the curtains did not block out light sufficiently.

  : My husband said his breakfast was just barely warm the first day. The second day, I think it was hot. He brought back lovely muffins for me in the room. The room was spacious, very comfortable. The location is excellent for neighborhood dining. So many choices!
