  : View beautiful, everything comfortable but the room controls lit up the whole room at night everything else was lovely. The fish tasting menu was really good and so was the first breakfast. Location great.
  : The second night evening meal was nothing like the standard of the first evening the cold pork and cold gravy course was unpleasant with a lump of gristle in it. The second breakfast had scrambled egg with yolk and egg white separated and very runny, just not nice. The standard in food was very different.

  : Hotel Triglav is a beautifully restored and decorated old hotel situated on the far side of Lake Bled with spectacular views across the lake to the town of Bled itself. Everyone was very friendly and the quality of the food served at breakfast was exceptional. We ate in the hotel restaurant on our second evening, the dinner was also exceptional, but you are then paying for a Michelin rated taster menu. The pool and spa underneath the hotel were superb, with relaxation areas looking over the lake.
  : We chose the hotel to be away from Bled which, having walked into the town, was the right choice. However, arriving by coach, we were left at the mercy of an over-priced shuttle service (not the hotel's - it was arranged by the Bled Information Office) to get to the hotel itself. Our return journey, by taxi, was far cheaper. If the hotel has any shuttle arrangements we were not offered or made aware of them. Although the hotel's food is of the highest quality, there is only the tasting menu (four to eight courses, so around 60 - 100 per head) available in the evening. If you don't want to eat this every night you need to find dinner elsewhere: there's a small pub very close by (fine if beer and pizza is what you want) and a couple of lakeside cafes down below the hotel - a steep walk down and an even steeper walk coming back! Otherwise it's a twenty minute walk each way to Bled (plus the hill) or a drive/taxi, so you really do have to plan your evening arrangements if you're not gourmet dining in the hotel. This really needs to be made clear in the hotel's information so guests are aware when booking and on arrival.

  : Wonderful location. Fantastic breakfast.
  : There was no coffee in the room, although there was a kettle and tea bags (no milk). When we went to reception to ask for some, we were told no, we would have to order some on room service.. I thought this was a bit odd. The restaurant was also full on our visit on a Sunday evening. I was disappointed that we had not been advised to book ahead, but appreciate this was my fault! (Reception staff did recommend a really good restaurant in town and helped us book a taxi to this since there is nowhere else you can walk to for dinner.)

  : Loved the setting and the very quiet rooms. Beautiful breakfast. Most staff were great
  : Breakfast was wonderful but dinner was outrageously expensive (165 euro for two) with two small glasses of wine. This was not at all what we wanted, most courses were not great. We have spent two weeks in Slovenia and have had many fantastic meals for much much less than half that price.

  : The location is excellent. The food is delicious. We particularly liked the personal service at breakfast.
  : We arrived back at the hotel at 20h30 after spending the afternoon in A&E (after an accident) and were expecting to be able to eat - the website and information in the room say last orders at 21h - but were told last orders are at 20h30.
