  : We were greeted warmly on arrival and the breakfast was very good, served by a lovely lady who was very helpful. We were able to park right outside in the hotel car park. The room was a decent size but badly in need of some tlc and was cold even though it wasn't that cold outside. It was only a short walk to Bingley Five Rise locks which was one of the reasons we chose the hotel, so location was great. Also, only a shortish walk in to Bingley itself so we didn't need a taxi to get back after dinner.
  : The room was a decent size but badly needed a revamp. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable and the sheets were very thin and didn't feel very good quality, nor did the pillows. There was a bedspread on the bed that matched the curtains and was good quality but I'm always wary of a bedspread because you never know how recently it's been cleaned. The bathroom was mainly clean but there was a lot of mould in the shower which was very off-putting. The shower room itself was very small but there's nothing that can be done about that. The carpet was very thin and threadbare in places. The room was very cold even though it wasn't that cold outside. Our room was in the annex of a very old building, so again, there's not much that can be done about that, it must be very difficult to heat.

  : After covid, the nation is trying to return to a more normal routine, the 5 rise would benefit to review its policy to service guest rooms during their absence, certain after after 2 1/2 years of being restricted guests need to feel special to enjoy new found freedom that can be found in gems like the 5 rise locks.and consider the evening meal offers, still on the website. Whilst running any business these days is a challenge, after covid one must rise to the challenge to survive, wish you all good luck for the future.

  : The hotel is in a lovely location. It's nice and quiet and only a short walk from the Five Rise Locks. The breakfast was perfect. Not too much,just the right amount and perfectly cooked.
