  : Cosy and warm. Free WiFi. If we didnt have to go out anywhere during our stay, we could easily have everything we needed within the cottage to have not gone anywhere and just relaxed.
  : Toilet handle wasnt working like it should, flushing it was causing us a bother.Kitchen tap was dripping.

  : Very pretty traditional farm cottage. Wood burning fire, bath as well as shower. Large modern tv.Cooking facilities. Roomy accommodation would suit family of 4
  : I had no transport and wouldnt recommend this. Owner kindly sold me additional firewood but this was as a favour.

  : The property was nicely decorated, and spacious. Especially the main bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped, but was a bit lacking in worktop space. Nice Woodburn. Nice enclosed outdoor space, perfect for the dog.
  : The electric radiators couldn't cope with the very cold weather. Even with the woodburner at full blast, the cottage never became that comfortable, but the weather was quite extreme (down to -8 at times). On our last day the outside temperature was much milder and the heating was good.

  : We had a couple of days away as a family in Feb half term. It was really handy for Hadrian's Wall, and it was warm and cosy even in wintery conditions.We enjoyed walking up through the farm and seeing the animals (wellies were a good idea).Kids aged 4+7, plus parents, this was perfectly sized for us and I think we'll be back.
  : The kitchen equipment was a bit erratic - happy to have tea and coffee pots and plenty of dishwasher tablets, but no sieve/colander or stirring spoon.The heating is standalone electric heaters. It works well but not on a timer.Minor quibbles on an otherwise excellent stay.
