  : Easy to find once entering Breb village, pensiunea have signs pointing to their location on the small roads. We enjoyed the optional breakfast and dinner. Both very good. plenty of parking inside entry gates at pensiunea. Photo of Pensiunea on booking.com is not the one we stayed at. The one we stayed at is newer but part of the same Pensiunea building group. Dinner option is important to use because there are no restaurants nearby or in Maramu generally. For on the road lunches we purchased lunch meat, bread, and mayonaise at small village grocery stores. Breb is a nice small rural village set in a pretty hill valley area. NOTE cash only. Owner is very nice.

  : Authentic house in Maramures. If you want to experience this, this is your place to go. But don't expect 4* luxury. The hosts are very friendly!

  : Friendly owners, good facilities, plenty of things to do for the children, animals on the property, quiet at night, private parking. The owner arranged day trips or activities on request.

  : Excellent location in a small, traditional, picturesque Romanian village. From here you can visit a whole beautiful region of Romania, with many Unesco heritage sites of wooden churches and beautiful landscapes. We stayed in an extraordinary, traditional small farm house with typical decoration, inside a bigger family property with many facilities to offer to the tourists, including families with children, such as an outdoor hot tub, farm animals to see and play with, places for outdoors activities, etc. Our hosts were wonderful people, very friendly, very helpful. Their effort to make you feel at home is so touching. The food and drinks they offer at breakfast and dinner is real countryside food, cooked by the lady of the house, so fresh and so tasty. Excellent food, do not miss this opportunity to try authentic Romanian food and (alcoholic) drinks.They arranged for us a nice ride in a horse driven wagon through the village at sunset, really remarkable. Parking is available and free of charge.
  : Some aspects of cleaning like for example the bed sheets which did not look freshly washed. The wifi signal is sometimes poor, but you can not expect a perfect one in that remote region of Romania.
