  : The view from the back balcony was stunning, uninterrupted views of the castle and old Cit. Great location for visiting all the sights around Carcassonne on foot. Beautiful old city with so much charm. The apartment was spacious and very clean, with a well appointed kitchen. It was great to have the use of a small washing machine too. Free parking at the flat was a real bonus. Our host, Valerie,had an excellent command of English, and had a well prepared information sheet of good restaurants, bakeries and places to snack, all price coded too. Most helpful. She was in contact by WhatsApp and email if we had any problems , which was most helpful.
  : Really not much, all was very good. Perhaps just little things like no hooks or hanging space in one of the bedrooms, another toilet would have been good for such a large apartment ( there was only one loo)and a chopping board would have been useful for the delicious local baggettes. But these were only minor niggles in the overall impression of the place, which was great.

  : The views were really nice. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Location is close enough to both Cites. Host was very informative and helpful.
  : The garden area is not well maintained. Its not possible to use the garden due to overgrowth. The terrace is a bit tatty and in need of a painting and repair in places (tiles, gates and railings). The Wi-Fi is very poor and the smart TV doesnt really work. Found that the 10am departure is too early especially that you must strip the beds, clean and put away crockery and empty the bins. No security for the terrace as the gates are not lockable. Roller shutters need to be put down at night which causes a fear that should electricity shut off I dont know how you would get out.

  : A little bit outside the town and up on a hill some of our group had mobility issues and with the heat of over 30 degrees the walk was a challenge

  : not a major problem but the wifi coverage was not great - but that didnt affect our stay

  : The kitchen could be better equipped. We bought a chopping board, sharpened the knives. We lacked instructions to operate the washing machine and the TV, but Valerie was able to help.
