  : Location is in the heart of Eixample and pretty much all sights and the beach are in walking distance; many great restaurants and cafes closeby; Carlos was a phenomenal host who gave us his number and was very responsive and helpful for local tips and arranging our departure
  : Our expectations were a bit different - the place is more like a nice hostel than a hotel (unsure why on google it says 3-star hotel); it is one large apartment with several bedrooms and bathrooms and a kitchen for shared use as well as a very nice dining room (first photo); doors and walls are old and thin so can hear everyone talking or walking by your bedroom; the sheets may need to be changed...very thin and old/stained-looking....also no mattress protection between mattress and thin sheet, I did not sleep very well due to that; our private bathrooms was SUPER tiny

  : Carlos is a very thoughtful host and made sure that I had everything I needed during my stay. The house is really beautiful and it was a pleasure to explore every little detail. The neighborhood is great to explore by foot and close to many sights.
  : It was a bit noisy during the night due to traffic, but I'm sensitive to that.

  : Carlos is a lovely host and he keeps the accommodation in immaculate condition. Location was perfect. Beds were very comfortable.
  : Our bathroom was extremely small making it difficult to shower. Thats not really something that took away from our enjoyment and we would definitely stay here again if we came to Barcelona.

  : Really great location, beautiful period features and decor. Apartment smells very nice also. Friendly greeting from the owner/manager and he is responsive and helpful.
  : I thought I booked one room but it was two rooms - so, not as advertised. The hotel is more a fancy hostel where the kitchen and living room are shared with the other guests so you don't have complete privacy. Also being an old building with heavy furniture/doors etc opening and closing windows and doors is very loud and echos throughout the apartment. Just one type of soap in the bathroom; drippy tap; squint shower head. General lack of attention to detail in certain parts like flimsy bin, small kettle. The main dining area shown in the photos is more of a 'display' rather than a facility.

  : Location was excellent, close to many bars and restaurants. The hotel is in a historic building that is very beautiful. Room was large and nice and the host was excellent and provided very good information and tips for seeing things in the city.
  : Detached bathroom was very small but adequate enough to shower etc. Although the bathroom was tiny it had a shower, sink and toilet so what else do you need. Road noise from outside was loud but we were expecting it as we are in the City centre so no big problem.
