  : History, style. Lovely room.
  : The shower took forever to heat up and pressure went up and down. No fresh towels and because room was so cold they stayed wet. In October the room was very cold with no signs of any heating, other than an extra blanket. Wouldnt like to stay over the winter. Staff didnt seem to know much about surrounding area, places to visit or travel options.

  : The best feature: located in the heart of Coimbra, the hotel is a short walk from many of the main atractions and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby. The bed was confortable, the building, from the outside, is charming and the staff was nice enough.
  : I would sum my stay as not a good value for my money. Despite being located in a charming old house from the turn of the 20th century and having been subjected to some renovations, the decoration of the room was bland, with furniture from ikea's cheapest line. The room was vey small, with paper thin door and walls, so you could hear your neighbours breath in the room next door; also, the windows of the room didn't lock properly. There was no television, no place to sit other than the bed and the wifi was only available in a small corner of the room. When I arrived I found a few hairs on the bed covers and the pillows were small and floppy. The bathroom was big enough but the towels provided were small and threadbare; the worst part was the shower - individual hot and cold water handles meant alternating scalding and freezing water, and even when you found a fragile equilibrium, the water would soon run cold for a few minutes, for no apparent reason.
