  : The room decor was updated and modern.
  : I got there a little early about 30 minutes before check in and unfortunately my room wasn’t ready yet. I was told to come back closer to 4. When I came back at 4 I was told my room still hadn’t been cleaned so I couldn’t check in yet. I was told by the clerk at the front desk that they would text me as soon as they got the notification that it was cleaned. I sat in my car and waited another hour and still hadn’t received a text saying my room was ready. I went back in and was finally told that they just received notification that the room was ready. I completely understand not being able to check in early, however it was ridiculous to have to wait an hour after check in time to get my room. The desk clerk didn’t seem phased by it so I’m wondering if this happens often at this property.

  : Very dark interior and exterior made the hotel feel cavelike.

  : Good size room, clean and modern.
  : Got a room on the 1/F at the back building. Have to take the elevator on the main building up to the 2nd floor, walk over the bridge to the back building, then take another elevator down to the 1/F….kinda inconvenient.

  : The room was not properly cleaned. There was garbage left from the past guest in the refrigerator.

  : Location is convenient to historic center of Corning. Our room was a good size and had an updated bathroom.
  : Check-in was slow and confused. We rejected 2 rooms before settling on one that was acceptable. We felt that the hotel seemed shabby, with too much peeling paint, stark hallways and cheap fixtures.
