: The arrival was not the problem. Ana, the receptionist, was friendly and also promised to care about the door of our room that could not be locked (we discovered that after arrival). Unfortunately, the door was not repaired until the evening the next day. Thus, we kindly reminded her to improve the situation. In addition, we asked for an improvement of the situation in the bathroom, as it was mouldy (that is not very healthy by the way). Ana promptly showed up and tried to explain that she cleans the rooms very carefully and that it is not mould we discovered. However, the room suffers from a bad ventilation, thus, it definitely was mould. After a short discussion she offered an early checkout with cash-back for the already paid days and left us to think about that offer. However, 5 minutes later the owners, an older couple, suddenly arrived and we were overrun by a torrent of words (in Spanish!) of an angry and huffy woman. We soon realized that we got thrown out. As it was not possible to discuss the matter in an objective and polite way, we packed our stuff and left. During checkout Ana wanted us to pay for an extra night, as it already was 1pm. Interesting expectation after having been set on the street. Of course, we can only speak about that single room, but from an accommodation rated so high we expect something different. Besides, we always expect an appropriate and respectful conduct with guests.
