  : Very clean and comfortable accommodation.The host kindly came in his car to guide us to the place when we got lost because, despite the clear directions ,there are many small one way roads if you get off track.There are good views of the old town and just a pleasant downhill walk to nearest restaurants.There was a generous supply of food provided for 3 days breakfasts.
  : There is parking but you have to find different spaces every time you bring the car back.

  : long walk into town, very steep hill. It would have been a nice touch if there were tea and coffee making facilities in the house. very noisy at night due to dogs and boy racers doing circuits around the area. (not the owners fault).

  : The host was very nice, his English was about as good as my Spanish, so communicating was a little difficult. Even though we stated our time of arrival, we still had to wait about 45 minutes to get the keys. This is not a criticism. I doubt that Cuenca is a typical/usual place for English tourists, so the language barrier can be a problem. He came the next day with breakfast which was a really nice touch.
  : The property was not the one advertised - it was behind the one shown in the pictures, up some steps and part of a row of terraced properties with another property above. Very confusing. We felt a little 'unnerved' as we felt like obvious tourists in a residential area and that we shouldn't have been there . Cuenca is worth a visit to see the 'hanging' houses and the historic town. Probably better to stay a little closer the old town.

  : The apartment is only 15 minutes from the old town and 10 minutes from the new town. However, it is up a hill. Not a problem for me, but could be if you're not mobile. A bonus for us was the apartment was less than 10 minutes walk away from the dinosaur museum. A must see
