  : The waiter was friendly and approachable when serving breakfast , but he had only just started serving food and was obviously out of his depth. If only he could have received some training and maybe an opportunity to shadow an experienced member of staff..

  : Have stayed here previously and like the parking and location. The new owners seem to be new to the hospitality industry but were friendly and helpful when asked for anything. The room was great and suited our needs; bed comfortable and room clean. They seem a nice family and I wish them well with this beautiful B&B.
  : Breakfast was entertaining as the first 2 mornings our hosts didn't seem to know what they were doing, but on the 3rd someone who clearly did was serving. The food was acceptable though nothing special but insufficient butter for the amount of toast and no marmalade/jam the first day. Hot drinks served in mugs despite cups & saucers being on the table, though on the last day I did get coffee in a cafetiere. I think if the team can get the hang of breakfast previous visitors would return.

  : Lovely comfortable and welcoming B&B, no frills. I think I stayed in one of the un-refurbished rooms (single room on ground floor), but it was still very comfortable, clean, decent bed - overall I was very happy. Hosts are friendly and flexible - you get the impression they're still figuring it out a bit but that's not a problem, I'd certainly stay here again. Location is great for a holidaymaker - right by the beach and close to some of the nicer beach-side amenities, but not directly on the busiest main road, and there's a nice outdoor porch to sit at in the evenings/morning. For a work trip, it was a little far from the town centre and rail station, but the walk was pleasant and again not a big problem.
  : Breakfast was fine - the cooked elements are classic English breakfast fare and done well, the cold elements were nice but a bit sparse when you're used to continental breakfasts - no bread or pastries, no cheese or cold meats. Not a major complaint as it was totally in line with what you mind in a lot of English B&Bs, and the yoghurt was really tasty. The wifi was truly rubbish though.

  : Room was tinyBeing made to look foolish when a different member of staff was on breakfast duty. Until that day, milk, juice and the like had been put on counter top. When there wasn't any rhat morning, I felt I was being told off for not knowing these were in the fridge. I hadn't even known there was a fridge in the breakfast room, since all food was brought up from the kitchen downstairs. It was my last day there anyway.
