  : The location couldn't be better! It was easy to walk to the little restaurants and shops in town, and easy to hop on the road that hugs the coast and drive north to explore the towns along the way.
  : We had a bit of difficulty understanding where to park, but a phone call with the owner cleared everything up. We also had some trouble with the WiFi, but the owner explained where the router was and how to unplug it and plug it back in to restart it, so it ended up being fine.

  : The stay in this hotel (Villa Evalotta) was a big disappointment. To start with, it turned out that there are actually two villas. When we arrived at place, we ended up in front of a locked door (as did another family). We were unable to get in because the code for the entrance was incorrect, and the owner did not respond to our calls or messages. Only thanks to a comment from a previous guest on TripAdvisor we realized that there is a second building. Next, our room was nothing like the pictures on the hotel's website. It looked like it's not a residential chamber, but a room where they stock all the old random furniture they don't need anymore. It was neither cosy or neat. Everything is quite old and used (furniture, kettle, an unrepaired (!) wall is just covered with dusty curtains, a bin in the bathroom is rusty etc, etc). In addition, there's a huge green exit sign in the room that shone brightly at night, which was also unpleasant. The only positive thing: breakfast was fine, but it was served in the main building. The price of this hotel is definitely too high for what we received. Besides extra fees for a parking place in the yard.We were glad that our stay was only for one night.

  : Maybe slightly impersonal because you dont meet the host in person
