  : After making the reservation on booking.com 8 weeks ago, I called hotel to let them know we needed 2 rooms together. Spoke to a woman who made no inclination that this hotel had not been functioning since April. I was never able to get a phone call answered again. This location has been closed since April 13, 2022, yet it is still on your site. OYO still withdrew a $1 as a confirmation even though site has been closed. I reconfirmed reservation using booking.com's reservation # on OYO's chat site well before date even though the hotel is closed. Please do not do business with OYO. Apparently, they don't know how to manage their hotels & it makes booking.com look bad. I will never stay in one of their hotels.
  : The owner of the Alcalde hotel was available (around the back of the hotel) letting us know that he got screwed out of buying the hotel for $170,000 from the previous owner resulting from OYO putting him out of business through a poor management contract that he inherited. He was gracious enough to let us know where there was 1 of 3 hotel rooms available in the whole town since there was a festival going on.

  : My reservation was canceled a month after booking with no explanation given, which has never happened with other hotels. After that, I got a ton of emails acting as if I had a reservation and sharing info about the hotel and my "upcoming stay." Clearly, the cancelation wasn't recorded in the system or something. I got yet another email on Saturday welcoming me to the hotel, and when I asked why I was getting these emails still, I got no response. Still no response 2 days later. Just a strange and bad experience through and through and zero customer service provided.
