  : A rather quirky layout. No full-length mirror, no towel racks. No seating area directly across from the TV. Hard to figure out what light switches went to the lights. Seemed quite overpriced; not a great value.

  : Communication from different staff members was confusing and contradictory at times. At check in I asked about complimentary breakfast, and was told I had needed to “sign up for it” ahead of time. Knowing I hadn’t done this (and also not recalling that this was an option when I booked) I figured we didn’t get the bkfst. So we didn’t even try and instead went to buy something from the little market. I mentioned that we didn’t sign up for the breakfast and the staff person had no idea what I was talking about and said that all guests got the bkfst, and was very surprised I was told that at check-in. She was very nice and did not charge us for the items we chose from the market (bkfst was over). On another occasion on day 2 of our stay I asked about servicing of the room, as we needed more coffee and towels, and our garbage was getting full. I was told it happened automatically on day 3 but we could also call before 10 if we needed the room serviced. Since the next day was day 3 I said that was fine, and just got more coffee from the front desk and towels from the staff person in the hall. Day 3 we left our room in the morning and returned in the afternoon and the room had not been serviced. When I called the front desk I was told No, that was wrong, they do not service the rooms at all unless you request it, which needs to be done before 10am. This person was a bit rude, saying that it clearly states that in the room. I explained that I was told it would happen regardless of a call on Day 3, and she acted like she didn’t believe me. There were also 3 different explanations from 3 different people as to when the ice water was out for guests. I’m not sure why it just wasn’t out all day but the point is there was marked inconsistency depending on who was working the front desk. I feel there is a definite training issue for the staff at this location leading to inconsistent information being given to guests.
