  : We had room 1. It was of a good size and very clean as was the bathroom which had a good shower. The hospitality tray was well stocked and generous. Our room, which had air conditioning faced the busy main road but the double glazing was excellent and we did not notice any road noise. The breakfast offering included fresh fruit and a good full English breakfast. Parking was good. There was a honesty bar available which had a good selection of reasonable priced drinks. The owner was cheerful and helpful.

  : all good again, this is our 2nd stay, an early breakfast was requested both days and was ready at exactly the time requested, loads to choose from along with a traditional cooked to set us up for both days at the showgroundgood parking outsidebrilliant aircon units kept us cool too

  : The room was very clean and functional. It was also brightly decorated.

  : The host is always friendly and welcoming and the breakfast is superb!
  : This our second time staying at the property and unfortunately we found it incredibly underwhelming this time. It was only a year ago we stayed and we had a ground floor room that appeared to have been newly renovated and it was exceptionally clean and tidy, this time we were on the first floor in a ‘superior King’ room and there wasn’t much superior about it. The decor was neglected and there was also quite a strong smell of urine and we deciphered that it was in fact the carpet that smelled. It actually kept me awake. The property is old and full of character but unfortunately in some customer areas it really could do with a good tidying up with respect to decor and flooring.

  : Great stay - attentive but unintrusive service and we loved being able to hang out in the lounge / honesty bar.
  : A breakfast menu / option to select items for cooked breakfast would improve bfast experience. The iron spat brown water out.
