  : Remember that no alcohol, even shop sales can't be done before 10am so if leaving early get your bottles beforehand especially if not sold elsewhere.

  : The breakfast and biscuits in the the room were good. Stunning view.
  : I arrived at the hotel and checked in, the first member off staff couldnt get something to work on the computer so informed me I would need to come down later or when I check out to fill out additional computer bits, I said not a problem. I went to my gin tasting, came back to my room and had a different very rude member of staff (a blonde woman with wavy/curly hair) knock on my door. I opened it and she immediately accused me of not checking in (bare in my mind I had the key and was inside of the room, someone had to have checked me in for me to be in my room), she demanded I follow her to the check desk immediately, I replied one second to get my keys and she gave me a dirty look.Then at the reception desk she was very rude again, incredibly condescending tone throughout and I felt like I was being scolded through an entire 5 minute conversation.She then asked me if I was eating at the hotel restaurant, I informed her I wasnt, she replied along the lines of thats one less stress, she then demanded (and I do mean demanded, not asked) to know where I was eating and my reservation time there. I asked if the bar did cocktails or only the distillery whisky/ gin and she responded by telling me to go down the road for anything else (the bar actually did do cocktails).Also be wary, when I booked on booking.com I paid the full amounts and received an email saying I had paid and I didnt need to pay at the hotel as I had already paid online through booking.com. The same rude member of staff tried to get me to pay a second time on check out. I showed her my emails stating I had already paid and she still in a very condescending tone told me to show her my online bank statements to prove it, even though I had showed her my email confirming I had paid on booking.com and she had taken my card details.The staff member was rude and condescending during every single conversation, ruined my stay and it was the worst customer service I had in Scotland.

  : The complimentary tour of the distillery was the absolute highlight. The food was nice and beautifully presented. Staff were kind and helpful.
  : Rooms werent cleaned and made up. The room had a very unpleasant smell of sewer. Restaurant service was mediocre.

  : Location is perfect. Breakfast is fair and taste good. Staff is friendly and welcoming
  : Room has no AC, and its much needed in the summer months. Sound insulation in the rooms is weak. We could literally hear our neighbors in the next rooms

  : The local restaurant was crap! Also would have liked a distillery tour, which is included in the price, but 4pm check-in meant last tour of the day was full. Perhaps add residents onto the final tour regardless, or offer them a slot prior to arrival?
