  : Dinner and breakfast. The room, a garden room, was very good, especially the parking outside of the room.
  : The bathroom, when you shut the door, was unclean behind the door. The ladies toilet at the bar area was also the same, not cleaned with the door shut. I mentioned it to the receptionist, not as a complaint, but more as advice that it should be looked in to.

  : I loved the hotel and the very peaceful surroundings. The single room was clean, and a decent size with a double bed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and refreshing after a hot day.
  : I couldn't open the window so my room was very stuffy and hot, thankfully there was a fan to help move the air around. I feel that air con should be standard in all rooms for a hotel such as this.Breakfast was good but the coffee was brewed in a large urn and was very weak which was disappointing.

  : I booked a room to sleep 4, my kids are 11 and 14, their was only 1 single bed and a double bed, so no room for 1 of my children to sleep, it was only fortunate my oldest daughter had a spare bed in her room for my other child to sleep, her room was a conjoined room, and the noise levels from the couple through the wall were horrendous my 11yrs had to listen to then having sex until 4am in the morning after being asked to be quiet! The bathroom was a disabled bathroom with no slant in it so the water flooded the full room.

  : Reception was very unique and well decorated. Check in staff were friendly
  : The Hotel was quite run down in most areas and desperately in need of new carpets and a lick of paint. This could be a beautiful hotel if it was better maintained and cleaning was of a much higher standard. Food wise breakfast was fine but the restaurant was very off putting with filthy carpets, horrible big metal containers with hot water and coffee in, dirty skirting boards, and just in general a horrible, dark room to eat in. The bar area was alot brighter and welcoming tho. We went out to eat as upon check in there was a kitchen staff member at reception who looked filthy, and worst of all kept touching their bare bum and pulling their chef trousers up, and scratching etc this was very off putting. Also the next morning after breakfast we ran into that same staff member in the corridor carrying plates with one hand and again with his bum exposed, pulling his trousers up! This is so unprofessional and isn't right to employ someone that has these hygiene issues let alone in the kitchen around food and wondering around in full view of guests. The food isn't cheap either! We made use of the spa facilities and again, from a distance it looked nice but the changing rooms had a horrible smell and obviously weren't cleaned regularly. The sauna looked like it was going to fall apart and had obviously been repaired in places, very badly!! The swimming pool and hot tub were fine. There was water available around the pool but again this was not looked after as there was a bin over flowing next to it with used cups, about 4 large empty water bottles, and a table full of used cups as well as a few on the floor. I would not come back here which is a shame as it could be a beautiful hotel if it was properly managed, maintained, and renovated in quite a few areas
