Disappointing

  : We stayed at this property twice in one week. Once on our way to visit Alaska on a cruise and once upon our return. Even after requesting to be on the ground floor a week in advance and in person, they did not accommodate us. We had to carry our bags upstairs and it was quite difficult for us. We did not have a TV in our room, another checkmark against the property. They did allow us to check in 1 hour earlier, but yet the room was again upstairs. One of the lamps was missing a lampshade. No one takes care of the details. It's an old property, so the tubs look like they need a good scrubbing. We will not be staying at this Marriott property again.

  : The breakfast was great. It was hot and plentiful with juices, coffee, and tea. Eggs, bacon, and sweet rolls were featured.
  : The staff, upon check-in, were not very friendly and didn't seem to know much about the local area. I asked where the closest grocery store was and the two young ladies the front desk didn't have an answer. Also, there are NO restaurants within reasonable driving distance. We drive a Kia (theft of Kias in the local area was almost common) and about half of lights in the parking lot weren't working.

  : ......until they told us we were on the second floor and no one was available to help us carry our bags up. Then we get to the room and there is NO TV. What is this, Motel 6?
