  : The location is great and the apartment is huge.
  : We travelled in a cold period and the heating was not working. The apartment was cold with a high humidity. Our host did not help us out. The blanket smelled like it was in a closet for 2 years. The warm water was not working when we arrived, but we fixed it ourself. The kitchen does not have a lot of supplies (no towels, soap). We did not have a very comfortable stay because of this.

  : The apartment's location in the old Town is handy for walking throughout Lecce. The traditional stone construction was very quaint and would be charming if properly cared for.
  : The apartment was not ready for rental, having not been cleaned properly, lots of weeds at the front and neglected planters, no water to the kitchen sink, single size sheets provided for a king size bed, no toilet seat in one bathroom, a duct tape repaired floor in the bedroom, no TV signal missing light bulbs from fixtures, and torn sofa, all unlike the photos in the listing. The agent who checked us in was no help, although her replacement did resolve the water problem, provided proper bedding, supplied a kettle, and tried to fix the TV, 11 days after our arrival. Finally, we would not have rented this place had we know the adjoining unit was a construction site for a major restoration, which produced banging and loud power grinder noise starting early in the morning, and constant fine dust. We received no response from the rental agency, Barbar House to our complaints.
