: We loved the renovations and the look it was beautiful.

: This is a pleasant hotel with generally friendly staff in a convenient location. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is good.
: There were six of us, so it seemed more convenient to travel around in a seven seater car with a driver, as we did successfully in Sicily last year. Our visits to local areas seemed expensive but not excessive. However, when it came to transferring to our next hotel in Ostuni, about an hour away, we questioned what seemed to be an outrageous charge but were told it was because we would require a larger vehicle due to our luggage and there was complicated access to the hotel. Neither was true. I subsequently wrote to the hotel to query why we were charged almost 600 euros for a journey that should have cost closer to 200 euros, but was firstly ignored and have now been fobbed off with a story about their Public Manager having problems with access to emails. This is unacceptable behaviour from a supposedly five star hotel. On another matter, the pillows are very hard, but they didnt have enough soft ones to fulfil our request to change them.
