  : 1. Beware ceilings are REALLY low - bedroom has 2 sharp attic walls where you can bump your head and have serious injury if not careful .2. Fan is also very low height - if you switch on the fan your head is not safe (attic apartment with low low height) 3. No elevator - and steep stairs , not recommended for those with even slightly heavy luggage 4. No cleaning except at the end of stay - problem for those with families. 5. Extremely late check in - 5pm , and they are not very accommodating if you ask for early check in - they told us our check in demand at 2pm was unreasonable . 6. Rude owners - they kept lecturing us about not reading their rules and how busy they were. 7. The terrace is super windy - it looks great in pictures but when you want to use it , it’s windy and cold Essentially all the studios are attic apartment that are well decorated but not very comfortable to stay - overpriced for what they are . One can get full service apartments with cleaning elevators and service for this rate with proper ceilings elsewhere at many places

  : We were sent a door code and a code to get the keys. Very easy access for arrival but very secure otherwise. The property was in a really great location with nearby restaurants and places to go walking, but also extremely close to the metro for transporting elsewhere or day visits, etc.
  : Our only negatives were that we did not realize Portugals' 2nd floor was literally up two flights. In America the ground floor is more 'Level One' and in Portugal it is like a 'Level Zero.' So we did not realize we would be going up and down 2 flights of steps every day and sometimes with luggage. I just happen to have bad knees so I felt it! Also, we are tall so the toilet took a little rotating to get to and going up and down the interior steps to the loft took ducking our head a little.

  : Stayed here for 11 nights and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed so we were able to buy fresh fish, fruit and veg from the Time Out market over the road and cook for ourselves if we wanted to or take advantage of the many amazing restaurants, cafes and bars right on the doorstep. The location was also perfect for Nos Alive as Cais do Sodre train station was a 5 min walk then just 15 min on the train to Alges. I had been worried about noise at night with it being such a lively area full of bars but the apartment was lovely and quiet. It also had a really comfortable bed which wasn’t too hard and good pillows. Susanne and Mauro were so helpful with any queries, always getting back to us quickly, and lent us a beach umbrella and showed us where the best beaches were. We also really appreciated the little welcome gifts, wine in the fridge and chocolates on the pillows. It definitely exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed for our stay.
  : - Everything was great for us but it probably wouldn’t be ideal if you had reduced mobility going up and down the narrow stairs to reach the bedroom- We were at the back of the building so no view and it was noisy on the balcony because of the hum from air conditioning units so we didn’t use it (not noisy at all in the apartment though)
