Located in a 1930’s building Whatever Art B&B offers a private garden area with a pond a 2-minute walk from Campo Pequeno Bullring. Campo Pequeno Metro Station is a 2-minute walk away. Rooms are individually decorated and feature original artwork. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom and a LED cable TV as well as a bathrobe and slippers.

The surrounding area has plenty of dining and shopping opportunities. Guests can purchase souvenirs on site. The bus stop located a 2-minute walk gives access to both Avenida da Liberdade upscale shops and Rossio Train Station in a 16 and 21-minute bus ride respectively. Direct buses to Costa da Caparica beaches stop across the street.

A shuttle service is available upon request and a surcharge as well as private medical assistance. The lively Bairro Alto district is an 11-minute drive from Whatever and São Jorge Castle is 12 minutes’ driving. Lisbon International Airport is a 20-minute metro ride away.

: The host and the area was nice.
: Well, we were disappointed. The room was tiny, uncomfortable, tired, offered no spare sockets for charging and smelt foisty. The so called 'breakfast' was very poor and on display 24h a day. We stayed in a hostel nearby a week before which was clean, well presented and offered a fantastic breakfast and at a fraction of the price. The hosts there were as nice.

: Carlos is an excellent host. He is incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive. The back terrace is a great place to have a coffee in the morning, and the location is close but not too close to the very touristic areas.
: Maybe the prices went up, but I thought it was too expensive for our room (the smallest room, two double beds). I also wish that sheets were newer, and I wish the kitchen was cleaner.

: The representative was polite, but all the other disadvantages of this place, such as dirt, bad smell, unsanitary conditions, outweighed any politeness. We asked to cancel our reservation after the first night. But the owners greed did not allow this to happen. As a result, we had to run away from this place to a cleaner one. Moreover, no one returned the money to us.
: A terrible smell is what you will encounter when you step inside. After this, you will be surprised by the dirty state of the bathtub, which is scary to enter without shoes. Dust, street noise until late at night and early in the morning, psychedelic paintings and decorations. In general, if you want to get a good night's sleep and recover after a busy day, this is not the place to go. Because within an hour, being in a small room, you will begin to feel a lack of oxygen, and the smell of antiquity, a remedy for cockroaches and sweat, will be absorbed into you throughout the night.

: The location is ok, close to Metro. The house has nice garden, also the fridge is useful. The owner Carlos was kind and helped us with city public traffic and early morning taxi.

: Loved the original art and decor. It was like stepping into an artist's studio.
: The room was lovely with access to the common garden, but at night with the doors closed it was close. No windows opened. The second night we asked for a fan. Carlos graciously provided one.

: Our host was excellent, he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable! He gave us lots of local recommendations for things to see/do, places to eat and even wrote down bus and train line numbers for us to make it super easy to get around.
