  : Location was within walking distance to the chair lift on the east side of the valley. You also had a nice view of the village in the valley. The apartment was fresh with wooden floors.
  : 1. The biggest problem was that the last bit of the road down to the chalet was not maintained at all. It was a steep hill which was completely icy. On several occasions I could not get up the slope with my Volvo V60 which had snow tyres. In addition the parking lot by the chalet was also not maintained at all. If they would have had a shovel we could happily have removed some snow from the parking lot.....One morning my car had sunk into the snow on the parking lot and my car was stuck. My friend had a towing rope which we had to attach to our cars, so they could pull my car out. I did complain about the poorly maintained road to the agent in Livigno, Manuel. He asked that I sent him the picture I showed him, so he (Manuel) could share with the owner of the unit so the road down to the chalet could be cleaned and fixed. On the morning of departure I had parked my car outside the building further up the road, which maintained their part of the road with sand and gravel, this was to ensure I could leave on time before the tunnel closes at 9:00AM. However, my friend parked his car outside Elena. It resulted that he did not get up the hill on the last day, Feb 26, and his car slid into the fence. The agent called for a tow truck but my friend had to pay 150 for the service. In addition he will have to pay his insurance company to fix the car due to the damage done to the car as it slid into the fence. 2. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. It didn't have many kitchen utensils to cook and prepare food with. There was no coffee machine (OK it was not listed) and toaster. The agent did send someone to provide some utensils very quickly, which was very good. However, the person who came to deliver the utensils complained with my 15-year old child who was at home, as she was not skiing as she had to study, why we needed so many things as we were only 5 people staying in the unit. Very inappropriate to be rude to a child!
