  : The location was excellent. You're close to some of the top tourist attractions in London, and for anything further away, you can hop on a nearby bus or the tube. The free breakfast was a plus, and it was super yummy. The rooms are small, as to be expected, but they have everything you need and the beds are comfortable enough. If you can, make sure to book a room that overlooks the lovely garden out back; it's nice to open the windows and spend a few minutes looking out at the trees and flowers. I actually stayed in two separate rooms while I was here - I first stayed in a single room with an ensuite bathroom, and then I stayed in a room with a shared toilet/shower. My first room was only up one flight of stairs (the hotel was able to accommodate me when I asked for a room closest to the ground level), but the rooms that share the toilet and shower are all on the top floor. There's no elevator here, so be prepared to walk up narrow steps with your luggage. Overall, the price and the location make the Jesmond a great place to stay, and I'd definitely consider staying here again for my next trip to London.
  : The main area of improvement for the hotel, I feel, would be better communication. It's not actually communicated when/if the housekeepers will clean your room - I was actually napping in bed the morning after my first night when a housekeeper walked in (without knocking, I believe). It wasn't a huge deal, and I should have been using the deadbolt on the door, but still; it would be nice if the hotel told guests when to expect housekeepers. Additionally, on my final day in London, I was up pretty early in the morning to get to the airport. I wasn't told where to drop off my keys if no one was around to take them, so I had to ring the bell by the reception area and I woke up the poor employee, who was understandably startled and was wondering why I didn't just drop off the keys in the designated area. The two separate times I checked in, it wasn't mentioned where I should leave my keys in the event that no one is around to take them. I felt bad for waking the man up, and that could have been avoided with basic instructions at check-in.

  : It was extremely small, 4 beds inches apart. You have a step up to the bathroom, which is also tiny. The stairway is super narrow. Wouldve liked a muffin at breakfast, not a big fan of eggs, sausage or beans.

  : Great Location in Bloomsbury, nice pub , coffee shop, and news agent/sundries shop around corner, 1 block more and you are on Tottenham Court Rd. major street
  : my room was on 3rd floor and no-elevator hotel. Challenging as I wear braces on my legs but not unsurmountable.

  : Location was good, friendly and helpful staff, room was cozy and within expectations (knowing it was shared bathroom). Breakfast made to order was really pleasant.
  : Soundproofing of windows and between rooms isn't great. had some dingdongs revving their car engines in the middle of the night which was loud enough to wake you up.
