  : Very well located for arrival by boat, the bed was comfortable and the room was a good size, and clean and tidy.

  : The only thing I liked was that it was close to the ferry, and that it was a quiet location.
  : The owner is extremely unfriendly and a total jerk. I arrived at 11am, because thats when the ferry got me there. I had indicated this on the booking.com website, to make sure staff would know. When I got there, the owner made a huge fuss and bluntly refused storing my luggage until 3pm when check-in started. All I wanted was simply leave my luggage in a safe place so I could go and explore Mariehamn. After a very long discussion and me trying to reason with him, he agreed to give me my room if I paid him an extra 20 Euros in cash. The room was ready anyways, he didnt need to do anything except giving me the key). He was clearly taking advantage of my situation, standing there with a giant suitcase and carry-on, not knowing what to do. I chose this guesthouse because of its location close to the ferry terminal, and it would have been fine for that 1 night, but paying an additional 20 Euros made it far too expensive for what it was. (Its pretty run-down). Also the fight the owner put up with me was irrational and unnecessary. He came across as an unhappy person who doesnt shy away from blackmailing his guests to get more money out of them. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
