  : Both the room and facilities within it were excellent. The bed was large and very comfortable and the shower was very good. Whilst we did not use the kitchenette area provided in the room it was a nice addition and might have been useful given a longer stay.
  : The room was in an annex across the road from the hotel and the bedroom window directly faced the street outside. Later in the evening there was a lot of noise from pedestrians walking past after the bars had closed.

  : Easy booking in on the day
  : Had difficulty operating the shower. Not clear to me which was hot or cold or which was the main shower or hand shower control. I am 83 years old and would need a handle to hold on to when in the shower. Also a handle inside the door so I could close from inside. If I am at Donington Park again next year I would stay but would like a ground floor room. Also - I was delivered by my Daughter parked in the Car Park for short while but not sure it was for Harpurs customers - there was plenty of notices saying "DO NOT PARK HERE" but not clear if it was Harpurs.   : The room was nicely styled, there were complimentary biscuits, it was clean and the staff member was very friendly and cheerful.
  : I didnt realise that we would be staying in a tiny, terraced house - marketed as a cottage! Over the road from the pub. It was beyond cramped and not a 120 room!! It felt like a student house but much smaller and the room was not fair to call a double. It had no space to both move around, no full length mirror or room to sit other than on the double bed which absolutely filled the room. The bathroom was equally cramped in. If it was a house youd have it as a fair sized childrens room with a single bed. It was also ridiculously loud and had no privacy as - because it is a tiny converted terraced house - the walls are paper thin so we could hear everyone elses conversations through the wall!? It didnt look like the room we booked, and I was disappointed. You cant charge 120 for a room and deliver that! I understand that its a good way for the pub to make money with extra space - but price the room fairly to reflect that!
