  : Unprofessional staff. Not up to date guest management system. Trying to get a deposit from me of 710euro (I guess the typed by mistake in Booking.com portal) considering I have integrally paid the accommodation. When asked they insisted that there is another "astonishing" 4euro city tax and they wanted to be sure I will cover that (again, in 3D-secure of my bank the amount of 710euro was asked). They don't have a 24h reception nor any way of receiving guests after hours. My plane was late so for the first (out of 2) night I quickly booked somewhere else (~100euro) for the night. I could not risk not getting along with Olinda in the middle of the night, in a strange city.The rooms are terribly soundproofed and I woke up every time someone used the toilet in the hallway. The breakfast consists of cereal, gem, white bread (sliced toast bred, just not toasted, cold), some packed sweats and muffins. To get coffee you have to ask a lady (in italian, of course - learn fast if you have business there) and the whole process was strange and awkward. In the morning, after waiting for 2 hours for the bathroom to get available, I gave up and I left. I went for breakfast and after seeing so much sugar and only sugar, I also gave up to breakfast. I went to a cafeteria to get a cappuccino and fresh croissant (2,6euro bill !!! - almost for free) and ...... to finally get to the toilet. In the same yard is a very attractive local restaurant. I asked the clerk from the hostel if it's ok for me to have dinner there. He said that I could get an extra 10% discount because I was a guest. I asked if it necessary to make a reservation. He said no, it's not necessary.There, the waiter said that it's fully booked, although I could see it half empty....If you are seeking adventure that's the place to stay.

  : Very good value for the money! Very near to a train and metro station, the area feels save at night. The premises of the hostel are nice, too.The bed was comfortable, the bedsheets were very clean. Enough of sockets for everybody to charge the devices. The lockers are big, have a couple of hangers, too.The showers were OK, nothing exceptional, but nothing bad either, the toilet was decent. There is always enough free showers/toilets.The breakfast was much better than I expected! Even better than in some hotels I have been to :p I would definitely stay here again.
  : Most of the staff was nice and helpful, but some allow themselves some discriminating remarks.
