  : We liked the grounds and the swimming pools. Dean, the managing agent was very nice as was the lifeguard. It was walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants and close to the beach. It was peaceful.
  : Terrible or non existent communication by owner. She sent a demand for a security deposit and completion of a short term tenancy agreement when we were at the airport travelling to the property, saying if it was not completed and transferred we could not stay. We had booked months before. I had advised her of our flight arrival time and she demanded we pay an extra 30 for a late check in on the day of travel saying the manager was very angry. A horrible start to a holiday. The terrace is missing its awning and the table has no parasol. So zero shade rendering it unusable for most of the day. The appliances are old, dirty, broken and rusty. The washing machine didnt work when we arrived and it took a week for it to be fixed. The dishwasher broke two days before we left. There were no instructions upon arrival, no welcome pack - not even a bottle of water. Half a toilet roll and one set of keys for a family of four. No hot water for showers as the immersion wasnt plugged in. Things the apartment needs - Bathroom bin with a lid Frying pan Colander More than one plug socket in the kitchen Plug sockets either side of the beds New mattresses - the double mattress is disgusting, filthy and we could feel all the springs Decent bed linens - theirs are appalling! We thankfully seen photos online and brought our own! Mirrors in the bedrooms. Pool towels Pool chairs/sun loungers A deck bbq A new sofa - theirs is covered in throws and falling apart. Fumigating for cockroaches New crockery - most cups and plates are chipped. Enamel has worn off all plates. Repairs to broken blind mechanisms. New bed - it squeaks with every move A knife sharpener - all theirs are blunt More than one chopping board A 10am checkout is unreasonable. The owner refused to return our deposit until she had personally been to the apartment six weeks later to check it. She returned it when we decided to take legal action.
