  : missing a drying rack (very much needed for a holidays at the beach).breakfast. it was disappointing as being in France you would expect much better options. and it was quite expensive for the offer. but, the thing is that island is quite expensive so eating outside wouldnt be cheaper.

  : Beautiful family run hotel. The room was modern and quite newly renovated. It is a quite place having its own charm. It is a perfect location if you want to stay relatively close to the sea but outside the noisy city. We liked the place very much.
  : A bit too far away from the beach. You need to have a car or walk some 15 minutes.

  : The look and feel of this place is rustic and chill, which I really like. The design is well thought out in terms of different places to sit and rest, it's not a huge place overall but they have created numerous areas for people to sit and relax. The pool is fantastic, not huge but probably the right size for the location, and a good depth. The room was comfortable, the shower was good and powerful. Breakfast is very good, dinner is very nice but a little pricey for us so we only ate there once. The people who work in this place our fantastic, friendly and helpful.
  : Firstly the location more or less requires a car - and that's ok, it's not criticism and the place wouldn't be as relaxed and rustic if it was further in to town. However for other people's benefit, mostly those with kids, I just wanted to mention that you can walk down to the beach and town however the two or three best routes on the map have a few challenges. The road down towards Casino supermarket at the south end of the town does not have a footpath/sidewalk for certain distances and that road is fast with curves making it hard to see traffic. The most direct route to the beach on Google maps involves a downhill/uphill path that is not passable with a kid's buggy, you need to lift the buggy 100 metres or take a longer route via Boulangerie Aqua Farina and Utile Monticello at the bottom of Ballaccia Sottana. Another thing to keep in mind with kids is that the rooms don't have fridges. (They do offer to take your food and keep it for you in a fridge in the main building) I think this is a deliberate choice as they have strict rules about not eating or drinking or keeping food in the rooms so as not to attract bugs. Wanting to avoid bugs coming looking for food is understandable and we could deal with this as adults and but it was pretty hard not to keep some snacks in the room for very young kids who are on holiday on a different schedule and fall asleep walk up at a different time and need to eat something. But working around these two things the place is fantastic.
