Disappointing

  : Upon arrival in our room there was an unpleasant odor and we discovered animal poop piled on the carpet near the window. When checking in, I observed 3 young Ladies who appeared to be employees according to their uniforms, and one was walking a dog on a leash that had been dressed in a doggie outfit. When looking for lodging I read this was a Pet Free facility. It was so disappointing to find such in your room, that you expected had been cleaned. It certainly made me think possibly most of the cleaning had been overlooked or not done, as it was apparent the cleaning person had a dog with them in the room. They did assign another room at my request, but no attempt to make provision of this disgusting situation. I have never been so disappointed in a Marriott facility in the many years I have been a Gold Elite Marriott Rewards member. Of course I was told the manager was not available.
