Cozy Myrtle Beach Resort Condo - Steps from Beach!

  : Absolutely nothing.
  : The condo was infested with roaches. All shapes and sizes. The condo was dirty which was the cause of the roaches (or as the owner preferred to call them "Palmetto Bugs). When I contacted the owner upon arrival to address the problem, she seemed terribly surprised and said she had never had a single complaint. She offered to come the next day and spray, which I am assuming she did being the condo smelled no different and usually bug spray has a strong odor. The situation did not improve, in fact it got worse. I killed roaches non stop the entire time I was there. I googled a home remedy that was suppose to kill adult and baby roaches and being we had both. I told the owner I was going to try it. She happily agreed, but never offered to pay me for the items I bought. Unfortunately. It didn't work and we dealt with the bugs for 6 nights. It was disgusting. We left all of our belongings in the car and had to retrieve anything we needed. Very, very inconvenient. The owner said to put our stuff on the top bunk, because they would not be able to get up there! Really? We were on the 13th floor....guess they can climb after all! Before we checked out, I picked up the toilet paper holder and set it in the bathtub to sweep. There were at least 30 very live babies under the holder. I swept them up and put them in the toilet. There were so many that it looked like I had poured pepper in the toilet. After we checked out, the owner sent me a text asking me not to mention this in my review. She said her condo was roach free (even though I had just found all those babies about 2 hours before). I told her that I rely heavily on reviews for food, lodging, etc and that I would not doctor my review. She said she wasn't asking me to doctor it, just to skip that part! She mentioned that she owned other condos and that she would give me a GREAT discount and I politely declined her offer. I refuse to EVER rent from her again.

  : The view was wonderful from the balcony
  : Noise from the street was a bit loud. But theres nothing to be done about that. If there would have been any more than 2 people we would have been uncomfortable. It was perfect for us two though.

  : The liked the location.
  : The room was not clean. Only 2 towels and 1 roll of tissue in the room and we were staying for 4 days. No King size bed as they describe. My grandbaby had on a pair of pink socks, and in less than an hour her socks were black and dirty from walking around the room. The ceiling fan had so much dust and dirt on it, u could've made dust balls. One key card and 2 pool bracelets when we were told there will be two key cards and several bracelets. They advertised the room was big enough for nine people so I think there should have been enough bracelets for nine people. It took the host a whole day to return my phone call and text to inform her of the items that were needed and missing. The and towels have spots on them. Spots that a laundry attended would've threw away and got new ones.
