Offering panoramic views across the Gulf of Naples the San Francesco al Monte is a restored 16th-century monastery. It features 2 rooftop pools a rooftop restaurant and stylish rooms in converted monks' chambers. The San Francesco is located at the foot of the hill leading to Sant'Elmo Castle and the Certosa di San Martino Museum. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Corso Vittorio Emanuele Funicular Railway stop.
You can admire the original frescoes and Mediaeval décor throughout the hotel. Rooms here all have views over the bay with Mount Vesuvius in the background. They are all air conditioned and come with satellite TV a minibar and a private bathroom with shower or bath. Breakfast is buffet style and is served in La Terrazza dei Barbanti restaurant on the 4th floor.
