  : Location was okay at first was not sure how safe and secure it would be, my husband and I walked to the French Quarter during the day and night and each time felt fairly safe.
  : Parking depended on how well the other person could park and how considerate they were. Leaving was difficult as the car in front of us was not parked properly , it was angled so it was harder to pull out to leave the property

  : I don't like anonymous hotels and this historical building really had a style that enchanted me.
  : Using the codes to enter the doors was a bit clunky , but I actually got used to it.

  : I moved rooms after my first night to room 2C (reasons why below) and it was divine. It had a lovely bed, gorgeous balcony with seats and lovely wee bathroom. The pool was nice and the offer of snacks from reception was welcome (in place of offering a full breakfast). I stayed in the main house, but the other house over the road looked very beautiful indeed and potentially a bit more updated (but obviously does not have immediate access to the pool). Great location for walking to Bourbon St, St Louis cemetry etc... Staff were helpful (at the end) for helping me with a late check out.
  : I moved rooms after my first night as the room I was in was extremely dark and didn't really have any natural light and / or option to open windows, along with no look out whatsoever (1E). It felt very claustrophobic due to the darkness despite it having its own living room + kitchen! I appreciated the move. Unfortunately from the moment I arrived the woman on reception, for whatever reason, took a disliking to me and everything I asked felt like I was putting her out (until the end when she kindly helped me with a late check out). I sat in reception waiting for a tour to collect me and witnessed her interacting with other guests in a completely different way (smiles / happiness etc) so I didn't feel hugely welcome here, it was odd. Coupled with me then requesting to move rooms (to the room I'd actually booked and paid for) I just constantly felt like I was a burden...

  : The rooms were very clean and I loved the old fashioned theme, parking on-site was convenient, it was close to the tourist attractions
  : Staff on the front desk could be a little more welcoming

  : Very helpful , responsive and friendly staff , Michelle was great .
  : With the heat the second bedroom was hot and uncomfortable ended up not using it . Staff was helpful and offered another room but we chose to stay with one more night left we made the best of it . Would stay again !
