  : We booked indulgent room instead of suite as last time we stayed the bed in the suite for us was not as comfortable as the bed in the indulgent room. When arriving it was the same bed as in the suite?
  : The lighting and the positioning of the light switches was a little odd.

  : Location excellent, Evening meal great, staff happy and communicative. Good choice of ales, good car park.
  : Room needs a little more cleaning - Im not particularly picky - but quite dusty in the room and around radiator, shower cubicle damp above, shower is excellent just needs TLC. Window does not close properly and the blind would not open above 1/2 way. Room 10. I understand the property is probably listed so need careful joinery to windows etc. For the cost 130+ per night expect slightly better housekeeping and preservation of infrastructure. I will use again as the location is fantastic for work access - breakfast no toast ? Coffee machine required

  : Very friendly staff, room was comfortable, food very nice.
  : Lots of filler in walls not sanded down or painted over in our room. Looks unfinished. Can see into shower from sleeping area, no separate door, continental breakfast option very disappointing, cleanliness needs addressing, very dusty windowsills and cobwebs, stains on leather seats, and rubbish on floors under seating in dining room .
