  : Conveniently located near the highway and far enough out of Chicago that the traffic was behind us.
  : The heat was on in our room when we checked in and it took a long time for the room to cool off, it was June.

  : My only comment is that the light above the bed was burned out, and the dog poop bag dispenser was empty.HOWEVER, it was satisfactory enough that I will use your motels again!

  : Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Staff was nice and check-in and check-out uncomplicated.
  : I knew this place from a number of years back and it seems that nothing was done to it since then - the room was non smoking, nevertheless the heavy stale scent of cigarettes hits right after you open the door. Floors would get your socks dirty - wearing shoes in the room highly recommended. As a dog owner I have nothing against dogs, but because pets stay for free at the Red Roof (ours did not come along this time), there were quite a few of them and not all of them liked each other so occasionally one would hear them expressing their feelings. :)WiFi coverage was not reaching our room - there was very good signal outside (also in the parking lot), but not functional in the room.The place is clearly in serious need of renovation. Looks much better on the website than in reality.
