  : Much better than your average youth hostel. Needing to take your own towels (bizarely still standard in International Hostelling) and the lino floor were the only real downers, but it was very clean. Well placed for beaches, port and town centre. Firendly receptionists. Great hostel kithchen. Good, hearty breakfast included. Even the huge school group from UK were remarkably well-behaved. We expected a disturbed night and didn't get one. It was a double room, so no need to cope with a dorm.
  : For towels, International Hostelling should now follow their new pattern with sheets (i.e. providing them). Also, really, this was one of our highest prices for night on our tour, whereas a hostel should be at the lower end. Nevertje less, it was cheaper than anywhere else in Ostend itself.

  : That they messed up my key card, with only one night entrance instead of 3. Which locked me out of the hostel on Sunday night when there was noone available to help and no emergency number to call for help.

  : It is a very nice, clean, comfortable hostel with a very friendly staff and atmosphere. The location is perfect: close to the sea, city centre and railway station. Breakfast is simple but good. I would really recommend this place to stay for a few days in Ostende.

  : It has everything you need for a basic, comfortable stay in a hostel. The rooms were clean, and the toilet were clean. The shower room is basic but too small. The breakfast was good enough to start the day.
  : Because of the shower room is small, the hanging fresh clothes (for after shower) hanging on the wall will get wet if you are not being careful. The main room door is not isolated, so you will hear noises coming from the hall and the elevator. During my stay, I also here often some kind of beeping sound coming from the hall. Not sure what it was, but perhaps coming from a fire alarm?
