  : Good cleaning of the room, good position for city historic center. Good breakfast... but there weren't cornettos. The madam was very nice; she told us the name of the better pastry in Palermo.

  : I booked a room here as I couldn't travel to Ustica as planned so I just wanted a solid good value B&B - I liked the place. I felt safe on the 5th floor (there's a lift) and the B&B is located in a vibrant and non-touristy part of Palermo. The host provided useful information about accessing the centre/port using the free bus that serves Palermo central. The room was clean and comfortable and it was nice to enjoy the sunny balcony overlooking the comings and goings on the street below. The evening bustle did quieten down for night-time/early morning although I left by 5.30am and walked through the nearby atmospheric Ballaro market before dawn - there's an awesome bakery en route. The B&B was good value for money and the hostess was lovely.
  : The B&B location was a bit of walk from the station - 20 mins I would estimate but I found it easily enough and it was better than staying nearer the station in terms of the area - it was a residential area. It would have been lovely to have been offered some kind of snack for breakfast as I had a very early start and missed breakfast. Overall I'd recommend staying here for a relatively inexpensive short stay.
