  : Excellent position in old town. Walking distance to key visiting points.
  : Heating system didnt exist. It is actually sir conditioning split but on the baths and on the halls was freezing. Even more, you couldnt heat more than 3 rooms at once due to electricity network.

  : In great location, near to centre of vibrant Palermo. apartment was full of character and charm.
  : We ate out for most meals, I dont think the kitchen facilities would have been too good for cooking for a large group.

  : The location is superb, right by the Palazzo del Normanni in a historical area. The building is a wonderful, traditional build with amazing marble steps. Easy to get to and from the airport being within a few minutes walk from the train station and ideally situated to walk to all Palermo's attractions. It's also near the bus stop for Monreale. The apartment looks and feels luxurious. The beds were very comfortable, the bedding was good quality and the place was fresh and airy. The decor is beautiful, very interesting and quirky using lots of old gadgets in a creative way. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Everything worked well. The showers were great. There is a small terrace to have meals outside and plenty of seats.
  : There was very little to fault in the apartment. The floor needed sweeping - it was a bit gritty if walking barefoot. This is not major. We felt that it lacked a comfortable living/dining area to sit and chat - the hallway and kitchen were the only internal areas to do so and these would be very cramped if there were 8 of us rather than 4. These are small things.The main issue we had is that the neighbourhood can be very noisy at night. The upstairs neighbours drags a heavy metal table across the floor every night around 11.30pm to bring it indoors. Firecrackers were set off every night, and there were lots of loud conversations and shouting in the streets and sometimes very loud music and banging on doors late at night. This was unfortunate and is beyond the hosts control. Earplugs were needed.

  : Our family of 7 were accommodated well given the number of beds/bedrooms. My 9 year old loved the loft and we were all spread out where I felt as though we had our personal space. 3 bathrooms a plus!
  : The streets are smelly and dirty and to me it looked like the slumsplus 35 stairs to get to the apartment and no elevator. I didnt learn about another area of Palermo until we had dinner there during our last night (central Piazza Ruggero Settimo) which is MUCH nicer. Newer buildings, wide streets, lots of high end stores, cleanreminds me of NYC. I only took a video of the interior and the 1 photo I uploaded. It pretty much looks the same as the photos shown.
