  : Central. Really close for Ferry embarkation. Staff could not be more helpful and polite. English is understood, spoken well, and they were patient with me trying to say things in Greek.I loved Piraeus. The Metro, line 3 into central Athens from Dominko Theatro is new and very impressive. Line 1 from Piraeus is scruffy Graffitied and slow but very handy.
  : Noisy location at a busy street junction. Traffic in greater Athens begins early and goes on until late. It takes a bit of getting used to. Sound insulation from room to room is generally good but the corridors are all hard surfaces and anyone moving into a room or out late at night disturbing. The ships in the harbour made no sound but people leaving at 4 in the morning to get a ferry is a different matter.
