  : Good size apartment. Two en suite bathrooms were great. Location close to town was great. Driving to get there was relatively easy. The people were nice (after the difficult process of getting in - see below).
  : Check in process was horrible. I had sent a message to the property ahead of time asking for specifics on how to access the property since it was in some kind of mall. I did not get a response with details. All I was told was to go to the mall main entrance and find the security counter and ask for someone by name. So since we are driving in - they did not say where to park in order to get to this mall entrance which is what I wanted to know. I had messaged them ahead of time to say our flight was delayed so our arrival time would be late - after 8pm. We arrived and found this mall at busy city streets with no apparent place to park to go in to the mall to the security desk so illegally I parked in a taxi stand waiting area. At that time I called the contact number for the property and the phone call went to voice mail (since we arrived after hours as I told them) with an outgoing message in Portuguese that I had no idea what it was saying (my fault for not knowing the language I guess). So now we are here and no one answering the phone to tell them we are there. I sent the host a Booking.com message saying we were there and needed help finding them told them to call me and I think someone replied to my message repeating to go into the mall to the security desk. So I walked to find mall entrances to go in. I found 2 different locked mall entrances. The mall was closed (8pm?) so I could not get in. I know the host knew we would be because I had messaged them. So again, we are locked out, waiting on the street.....There us much more to this story but this review section is character limited. We finally got in but the check in process sucked. Horrible communication. The other problem with this place is it smelled like sewer on and off the entire stay. The street below is very noisy with cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses. The view is not great with cruise ships and industrial boats in the way. The kitchen supplies were poor. Very expensive for PDL

  : Location was great, very clean, washer and dryer in room, lots of towels, nice balcony overlooking the Avenida.
  : Bed a little too firm for my liking but that a personal preference. Room a little dated, but everything functioned as it should.
