  : The location was amazing. The host was gracious. The price was reasonable compared to other nearby properties.
  : The whole house (besides our room) was rented out by a family having a wedding party. They had their personal belongings strewn out in the common areas (kitchen and dining room). We couldnt enjoy the property amenities due to feeling as though we were intruding. The host gave us a heads up about the party an hour before check-in, which we appreciated, but had we known earlier we would have likely sought accomodations elsewhere.

  : On arrival no one there to book us in.Parking- very difficult. You are dependent on other residents leaving enough space to fit in. We only had compact car but there was no accessible space, we parked in owners area. Getting out of car park also very difficult as had to back out on busy road on blind corner - not ideal!Cleaning was an issue in the bathroom- the bathmat was very wet, presumably from previous occupants, the sliding door was dirty and hadnt been cleaned in a while. The toilet seat moved and we couldnt fit our knees between toilet and wall! However the most disappointing part of our stay was the bedroom - it was advertised as a small room but I did expect the photos on the website to be realistic. Rather than set up of the bed being pillows against the wall as in the photos on the website with the bed appearing to protrude into the room and bedside tables on either side, the bed was actually transverse, parallel to the wall so one person had to lie adjacent to the wall with feet and head being blocked in by the bedside tables. The set up was so uncomfortable for two people, no real sleep was achieved, we heard every hour chiming on the nearby church clock! When we complained we were told that no one else had complained but now having read reviews more closely I realise I should have read between the lines as the there are issues highlighted that I missed, because the overall score was so positive. This overall score obviously relates more to other rooms. In summary the Race Point room is a single room - its not suitable for couples. Couldnt face a second night!!
