  : The location and the charm of the very old inn/restaurant in the heart of Old Town.
  : A terrible disappointment after a highly anticipated stay! We're rarely motivated to write reviews, so this should say something. Spend your money someplace else unless you're willing to chance insulting arrogant behavior from the owner and staff (save the cook who graciously showed us our room!) The charm of the authentic very old building, the excellent restaurant with local cuisine, and its location in the heart of Old Town was truly spoiled by the inexplicable rude behavior of the owner. To be blunt, the owner appears to dislike non-native guests. The review would be too long to accurately and fairly recount the negative interactions except to point out that there were enough to make it clear it was intentional and not a one-off misunderstanding. As seasoned travelers not looking for or expecting coddling, watching the owner and staff with other overnight and dinner only patrons made it clear that the place was run for the pleasure of the owner and the clearly local patrons/friends that he sat and drank with all night. Running a guest business doesn't require smiles, small talk, a cheery disposition or value given beyond value received, but it does a least require not insulting guests or making them feel uncomfortable. Readers may dismiss this review as from an overly fussy guest or chalk it up to a singular occurrence, but we've traveled and dined enough to know there is a real problem here that is only going to get worse. Although there are many positive reviews, take a moment and carefully read the negative reviews before dismissing this one. We'll be looking to see if the owner tries to post a response deflecting or totally ignoring the criticism which would be consistent with our experience and that of other unhappy guests.

  : It was an amazing stay. The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was delicious with much choice. The ambience was perfect. One feels like they have gone back in time and are experiencing a moment in history with the impeccable decorations.
  : The bathroom didnt have enough space to place ones toiletries.

  : It is a old quaint inn that had us right when we walked in. Creaky floors and nice views from our room. The staff was great too. We ate dinner and breakfast there and they were both awesome.
