  : We stayed here from 12/21-12/26 for the holidays as a family of 6 from out of town. Unfortunately, it happened that a large cold front came through and the weather got down to the negative degrees. While weather obviously is out of our control, this AirBnB was not adequately equipped for the cold weather. Given that this house was a “remodel”, it was extremely drafty. There was no storm door to keep the drafts out. Although the owners put space heaters in the main floor rooms, it was impossible to keep warm. We even discovered that the bathroom on the main floor’s window hadn’t been closed. We didn’t discover this until a couple days into our trip.I will give the owners credit for being very responsive when we did have issues arise. They sent someone to replace the batteries of the door knob code (which was dead upon our arrival). Additionally, they sent people to salt the sideways when it started to snow. When we asked for extra bedding, they sent bedding through Amazon prime. However, we were disappointed that we had to ask for extra bedding, more toilet paper, and more paper towels in the first place.I will include some pictures of some concerns we had with the rebuild. It was disappointing to see what a poor job this “remodel” was. There were gaps in the vinyl flooring, drawer knobs were loose, a bathroom door couldn’t lock or completely close. It was slightly uncomfortable that we had 6 people staying here, but there were only 4 chairs around the table and two stools to sit yet they claim this house can sleep 7? It would’ve been a lot more comfortable if there were more places to sit around the table. There was also a huge lack of drinking glasses (see pictures).Below, we’ve compiled a list of issues we had during our stay. One of the most concerning issues was probably the carbon monoxide/smoke alarm beeping the entire trip. When we notified the homeowners, they said they would “fix it after the holiday and to remove the batteries.
  : The house was drafty in the winter. Not enough glassware. The bathroom downstairs had pipes freeze and toilet and sink didn’t run for 24 hours.

  : This retreat was a perfect place for my family and I to stay. it was centrally located downtown and only a few minutes to the zoo, Anheuser Busch. When I had any questions I would text the manager/owner and they were very quick to respond and very accommodating to my needs. It was a cute place and very clean. Plenty of room for 5 adults.
  : I really can not find any faults or anything I did not like about the property.

  : keeping both floors at a comfortable temperature took a little practice. home is older with high ceilings so we understood the challenge.

  : It is a spacious place. Comfortable and quiet. Close to most places that we were trying to go.
  : It says it's a two bathroom but it's really a 1 1/2 bath. What is described in the amenities as a 4th bedroom is the living room which does have a fold out and was fine for our teenager.
