Disappointing

  : Pet-friendly. On the second day, I was able to get juice at breakfast.
  : The room had a smell when we arrived. The free breakfast was disappointing. There were eggs, bread, bagels, cereal, juice, yogurt, and coffee. The power went out for the toasters, juice, and coffee machines. It was most likely a tripped breaker and nobody figured it out before breakfast was over. The eggs were not good. The place was under construction and the ceiling was open with wires hanging. Parts of the hallways were under construction with debris everywhere.

  : i didn’t like that the beds were uncomfortable & when i arrived in my room a dresser drawer was broken i told a staff member about it he said he was going to be back for help & he never came back

  : There was no clear entrance or signage on the entry. There was visible dirt everywhere. The pool water was so dirty and cloudy visible debris did not swim. The room we were given was occupied. The staff gave us a different room and two days later they informed me I was being charged $250 for smoking in the room. When I called I spoke to the manager April I told her my wife and I do not smoke and when I asked which room she thought I stayed in she said 331 I told her no we switched rooms and she said oh to 342? So evidently she knew we weren’t in 331 then she asked if there was a Hispanic guy in 331 I said I didn’t know but the door was ajar and the tv was on with a bed sheet draped over it and the volume cranked. There was a man sitting outside of the room and stared at us when we entered and exited the room. The breakfast was pathetic the waffle iron was out of order the bar was out of order it was the worst experience at a lodging facility in all my years. We will never stay at a Laquinta again and will be telling everyone we know how disgusting it is. We are still waiting in the refund for $250
