  : I have been twice with 2 very different experiences. 1st time, the receptionist was fantastic. Room was clean & in great condition. Second time was very different. I had trouble receiving a clean room. Due mainly to a mold issue in bathroom. When I asked [ twice] for a room without mold in shower, the receptionist was curt, unbelieving. So I took a picture to show her. Her response was, " That's not mold, it's rust."I informed her that rust is orange, not black. No response. After a long, hard day on the road, I hope for congeniality. I suspect, but do not know, that some of these rooms have been upgraded & others have not. The condition of beds can vary greatly.
  : I don't know that I will choose Shamrock again simply because of inconsistencies. It is important to know what awaits at days end. A friendly, welcoming,professional staff goes a long way. So does a working, clean shower & a comfortable bed. The thing that bothered me most was being blown off by staff concerning the legitimate concern of shower mold.

  : Staff very accommodating, breakfast was great
  : Room was stuffy and hot, hard to sleep. Sign on the thermostat said not to turn temp below 70 degrees which is not comfortable for me. Have not seen that in other hotels, not sure why they dont want you to be comfortable.
