  : The hotel is located in a quiet location, next to a lakeside park. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Very good breakfast in the very nice restaurant nearby. good wi-fi. Free parking. The restaurant (where lunch and dinner can be also served) is in a beautiful old building with a splendid terrace near the lake. The staff is very nice and the service is very good.
  : The prices ( especially for the food), in the restaurant, are to high for what is offered.

  : The restaurant was amazing. Really good quality of ingredients and everything was local. The breakfast was also very good - good choices and liked how everything was organized in a way that would prevent waiste.
  : Small observation only - not everything had an English version (the invoice for instance and the panflets were only in Swiss German). Everyone spoke English and didn't feel like we were not being accommodated, but it was slighty strange considering the type of hotel and the experience in other hotels around the same area.

  : Breakfast was good with lenough of choices. Attendant at breakfast was very helpful, especially with the operation of the most antiquated coffee machine I have ever encountered in all my travels. Other guests needed help with it as well.
  : Location is good, right at the lake which is great. We had lunch at their restaurant. Lunch menu was very limited and EXTREMELY expensive. We paid for a portion of fish and chips with a small glass of cabbage salad 39.00 Franks, an outrages amount for a dish that usually sells for less than 25.00 Franks. Fish was greasy and did not taste fresh. Needless to say we enjoyed all our other meals over the next two days in restaurants nearby. Reception is not always attended, even during regular business hours.

  : To be very picky...the rooms faced a courtyard and had a porch. The upkeep...trimming and general maintanience could have been better

  : First, the positives: Great location on the edge of the lake, lush lawns, pleasant outdoor lakeside breakfast/meal/drinks ambience, walking distance to shops, supermarket and (less expensive) eateries; The rooms were new and clean; Storage space in the rooms was at least (barely) adequate (unlike many other hotels, in other countries); The wifi worked; and The meals were good
  : But , it was expensive over AUD 420 a night. For that I would have expected a lot more in the room, i.e.: There was no aircon the windows did open and a fan was provided, but it was still hot No fridge No tea/coffee making facilities spare me the trendy cappuccino machines, even a jug, some instant coffee and a few tea bags would have done the trick No room safe I know Switzerland is secure and has low crime, but comparable places elsewhere in Europe have this now as a basic facility No phone in the room presumably overseas guests are supposed to make an international call to 118 to report a fire (as per instructions on the door) does that even work ? How do you order room service darkly hinted at in the room instructions, but anyway devoid of any actual menu to draw from ? Unhelpfully the shower drained into the main room Notwithstanding the claim that there were convenient charging points for electronic items next to the bed, a certain level of athletic skill was required to access said points and in the end, due to the incompatibility of the access points with the universal adaptors, only one was able to be used. There were other charging points in the room but in odd, inconvenient locations You only get one key (the old fashioned analogue type) on check in, but if you ask you can get a second one Ill spare the outrage on the missed main meal orders in the pleasant lakeside restaurant. Just as well though - I mean AUD 70 for a Snitty ? Really ? And the final ignominy we were almost charged close on AUD 9 for the privilege of parking in the hotel grounds (if we had missed out, we could of course have parked at the nearby supermarket, with a voucher slip from the hotel and presumably ? for free). We dodged that bullet only because the receptionist realised she had not told us of this charge when we checked in (and we genuinely appreciated that flexibility/honesty).
